1. INFORMATION

Non-competitive solidarity and charity run for the Navarre Group of Rare or Uncommon Diseases, (GERNA). The CarrerAES 2014 run is on the agenda of events to take place on occasion of the Health Economics Association’s (AES) 34th Health Economics Conference. The conference will be held at Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA) in Pamplona on 27-30 May 2014.
2. REGISTRATION
Online formNumbers can be picked up beforehand at Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA), in the "El Sario" building, on Monday, 26 May, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. They can also be picked up on the day of the race itself from a place set up near the start line, from 2 hours to 15 minutes before the race starts.
3. ROUTE

CarrerAES is approximately a 5k run and takes place entirely in the city centre of Pamplona. The start and finish line is in Parque Antoniutti.
4. REGULATIONS
Article 1.- With the collaboration of the Pamplona City Council and the sponsors of both the race and the 34th Health Economics Conference, the Health Economics Association (Asociación de Economía de la Salud - AES) and the Navarre Group of Rare or Uncommon Diseases (Grupo de Enfermedades Raras o Poco Frecuentes de Navarra - GERNA) are organising the 1st CarrerAES solidarity run for GERNA. The race will be held in Pamplona on Tuesday, 27 May at 8:30 p.m.
Article 2.- The race is open to male and female athletes of all nationalities who are 15 years of age or older on the day of the event. THERE IS AN ESTABLISHED LIMIT OF 1000 RUNNERS.
Article 3.- This is a popular run, so a license is not required for participation. Moreover, in this case, the organisers are not liable for health problems derived from participation in the run. Therefore, all runners are asked to act responsibly and A MEDICAL CHECK-UP IS RECOMMENDED.
Article 4.- The run will be held on an urban circuit approximately 5000 metres long. Most of the route is on tarmac, with small sections of paving and cobbles. The start and finish line will be in Parque de Antoniutti (close to Avda. del Ejército). See map and description of route.
Article 5.- The registration fee is €5 for participants who are not members of the Health Economics Association (AES) and €3 for AES members. The organisation will donate each participant’s registration fee, less €1, to the Navarre Group of Rare or Uncommon Diseases (GERNA).
Early registration is enabled on the 34th Health Economic Conference website from 10 March on.

Online registration will end on Friday, 23 May 2014 at 9 p.m. Participants can register on the day of the race in a place set up close to the start line, from 2 hours to 15 minutes before the start of the event. The registration fee on the day of the event will be €5 for AES members and non-members.
Article 6.- All runners will receive a commemorative T-shirt together with their number, which they are invited to wear during the race.
Article 7.- Anyone wishing to show their solidarity with GERNA without participating in the race can make a donation by registering for number 0. The donated amount will be €4, all of which will be donated to GERNA. Number 0 entries will be made following the normal registration procedure, but they will not receive a number or a commemorative T-shirt.

Article 9.- The organisation will be responsible for appropriately identifying and signposting the circuit. Participants undertake to follow the instructions of the local police and persons appointed by the organisation to regulate traffic.
Article 10.- Numbers shall be worn completely visible on the chest, secured with 4 safety pins provided by the organisation.
Article 11.- The organisation is not liable for any damages caused to athletes, or by them to third parties.
Article 12.- The organisation shall take out Civil Liability insurance and individual accident insurance for each participant.
Article 13.- Drinks and snacks shall be available for all participants in the 1st CarrerAES solidarity run for GERNA in the vicinity of the finish line in Parque de Antoniutti.
Article 14.- The 1st CarrerAES solidarity run for GERNA is fundamentally for charity and non-competitive. Rankings and the times will only be recorded for the first ten runners to finish in the male and female categories. A commemorative plaque will be awarded to the winner, and the youngest and oldest entries registered via web in the male and female categories.
Article 13.- PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES. The organisation is not liable for claims or legal action resulting from damages to participants or loss of or damage to objects. Race participants understand that they are taking part in the competition voluntarily and under their own responsibility. They therefore exonerate, waive, absolve and undertake not to file a report against the organisers, collaborators, sponsors and other stakeholders from civil liability with regard to participants and their heirs.
Article 14.- By participating and paying the registration fee, all participants undertake to follow these regulations. IF THE RACE IS SUSPENDED FOR REASONS NOT ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE ORGANISERS (weather or imposition of the competent authority, etc.), participants will not be entitled to a refund of their registration fees.
