Her research focuses on the fundamental right to data protection, with a particular interest in the generation, governance and secondary use of large-scale data repositories for health research, and in the design of regulatory compliance frameworks for artificial intelligence. In the various projects in which he acts as an ELSI lead, he develops methodologies and governance models that address the complexity of applying the GDPR to large-scale health and simulation projects, ensuring a robust balance between scientific and clinical innovation, the protection of fundamental rights, and alignment with the future architectures of the European Health Data Space.
