JUAN OLIVA MORENO

Juan Oliva is an Economic Analysis Professor and member of the Economics and Health Research Group at the University of Castilla La Mancha. His scientific activity is focused on health economics with special emphasis on the social impact of diseases and the use of economic evaluation of health interventions applied to decision making. He has participated in numerous national and international competitive projects and has published nearly one hundred and fifty articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and another fifty collective works. He has collaborated with the Ministry of Health in the elaboration of several integral strategies for the fight against diseases and in the elaboration of the National Health System Report and with several Regional Health and Welfare Ministries and companies in the health sector. Member of the Board of Directors of the Health Economics Association during the years 2007-2013 (Chairman 2010-2013).
