Juan José Bestard Perello

Graduate in Medicine and Surgery, Graduate in Law and PhD in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. In 1996, as Director General of Organisation and Planning of INSALUD, he directed the INSALUD Strategic Plan. As Vice-Minister of Health of Madrid in 1999, he directed the process of transferring INSALUD. In 2003 he became Deputy CEO of Draeger Spain-Iberoamerica. He has also been Managing Director of Fundación Hospital Verín and Fundación Hospital Alcorcón, as well as General Director of the Balearic Health Service in 2011. He has worked at La Paz University Hospital since 2014.
