Jeffrey Harris

Double degree in Economics and Medicine. Member of the Department of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 1977. Specialised in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (1974-1977). He has continued to practice as an internist in federally sponsored community health centres in Rhode Island. Member of the US National Academy of Sciences (1980-2007).
