Associate Professor in Geriatrics and Palliative Care at the ULPGC since 2017 and postgraduate training. Work experience covering both care and management in a variety of Public Health Care settings, including Primary Health Care, Home Care, Hospital Care and support to Medium and Long Stay Centres. Currently working as a Doctor in the Geriatric Assessment Unit of the HUGCDN, with responsibilities in comprehensive assessment, therapeutic orientation, resource management and socio-health and inter-institutional coordination. Her lines of research include those dedicated to the hospital process regarding hip fracture (with the guidance and endorsement of the Spanish National Hip Fracture Registry (RNFC); those aimed at optimising in-hospital care for the elderly (decontamination, deprescription, adaptation) and those related to access to ICTs.
